I had an amazing experience staying at the Owl Hut Cosy Ensuite Pod in Snowdonia. The location was perfect, secluded and peaceful, making me feel like I was in my own little world. The hut itself was beautifully decorated with an owl theme, done in a subtle and lovely way. The homemade Welsh cakes provided were a delightful touch, making me feel truly on holiday. Rich and Lynn, the hosts, went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. The breakfast provisions left for us were fresh and delicious, and the inside of the hut was of a 5-star hotel standard. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided were top-notch. The wildlife around the hut was a bonus, with birds like woodpeckers and jays making appearances. The location was also convenient for exploring Snowdonia and the surrounding areas. I had a fantastic getaway and would highly recommend the Owl Hut to others.

We had a fantastic stay at Owl Hut Cosy Ensuite Pod Snowdownia Coast Sleeps 2. The setting was absolutely beautiful, nestled in a secluded part of the wood. We loved being surrounded by nature and hearing the owls in the evening. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided a lovely hamper with Welsh cakes, milk, and other essentials. The pod itself was cosy and well-equipped, perfect for a romantic getaway. We enjoyed using the BBQ and appreciated the breakfast amenities provided. it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

The breakfast left was really lovely, with fresh eggs, Welsh cakes, a loaf of bread, butter, jam. The hosts, Lyn and Richard, were really nice and made us feel welcome and safe. The inside of the pod was like a 5-star hotel with a quality bathroom, modern sink, flushing toilet, and a modern hob. The bed was clean and comfortable, and there was warm heating if needed. We also enjoyed the wildlife, with birds like woodpeckers and nut hatches visiting. The pod was also centrally located in Snowdonia, near the Mawddock Estuary and Barmouth. our experience was great and we would definitely return.

The difficult drive up the little hill to get to the pod, especially in the dark. It would have been helpful to have some lighting to navigate the area.

The outdoor seating area was fantastic, providing a spacious environment. The hosts were amazing, always available and helpful with recommendations. The provided bread, jam, Welsh cakes, and eggs upon arrival were a lovely surprise. The Owl Hut was well equipped with everything we needed, including a hob, pots, pans, cutlery. The use of space was perfect, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed exploring the nearby lakes for paddle boarding and kayaking. The George III pub nearby was also a highlight. we had a fantastic stay and the hosts were wonderful.

I had a lovely overnight trip to the Owl Hut and it was truly fantastic! It was our first time staying in a pod and everything we needed was all in one space. The facilities and little details were brilliant and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our dog loved it too! The breakfast provided was really lovely, with fresh eggs, Welsh cakes, bread, butter. The hosts, Lyn and Richard, were really nice and made us feel welcome. The inside of the hut was of the standard of a 5-star hotel, with a quality bathroom, modern kitchenette, and a comfortable bed. The wildlife around the hut, such as woodpeckers and jays, was wonderful to observe. The location was also central to explore Snowdonia, the Mawddock Estuary, and Barmouth. We also enjoyed cozy evenings at the hut with the log fire. it was a fantastic experience and we would definitely go again or stay at any of Lyn and Richard's properties.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with plenty of nearby lakes for outdoor activities such as paddleboarding and kayaking. The hut itself was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a hob, fridge, and a comfortable bed. The hosts, Richard and Lyn, were fantastic and provided great communication and recommendations. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras like salt, pepper, tea, and coffee.

While the overall experience was positive, there were a few minor drawbacks. the lack of a walking route to nearby shops and pubs meant we had to rely on our car instead.

Value for money was great, the room was cosy and had all the facilities needed. The location was fantastic, with easy access to Barmouth and the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Hotel breakfast could be improved with a wider variety of options.
